What are the different versions of Roborock S8?
The Roborock S8 series debuted with the S8 and S8+ models. While nearly identical, the S8+ includes a docking station with an automatic dust-emptying system, a feature that sets it apart from the base S8. Later, Roborock introduced the S8 Pro Ultra which features a new docking station with automatic mop cleaning and improved mopping performance through the introduction of "VibraRise 2.0". This high-speed vibrating mop expands the cleaning area and enhances overall efficiency.
The latest models in the series, the S8 Max Ultra and S8 MaxV Ultra, further advance the lineup with stronger suction power (8,000Pa for the S8 Max Ultra and 10,000Pa for the S8 MaxV Ultra, compared to 6,000Pa in the earlier models). They also introduce "VibraRise 3.0", which vibrates the mop 4,000 times per minute for superior cleaning performance. The main difference between these two models lies in their technology: the S8 MaxV Ultra is equipped with a camera for enhanced obstacle avoidance and boasts additional intelligent features like voice assistant integration.
