To identify which battery your Dyson V8 vacuum cleaner requires, check the first three digits of the serial number located on the old battery or on the base of the machine (underneath the battery). Refer to the list below for matching serial numbers. Dyson part numbers 969106-01.

How to install the Dyson V8 battery?
To replace the Dyson V8 battery, first empty the dust bin to avoid any mess. The battery is secured by three Phillips screws:
- The first screw is located underneath the post filter at the back of the machine. Unscrew it, and if needed, remove the post filter by rotating it counterclockwise for easier access.
- The other two screws are at the bottom of the machine near the dust bin lid. Unscrew them to release the battery.
Once all three screws are removed, gently pull out the old battery from the Dyson V8 main body. Install the new battery in reverse order using the provided three new screws.
