It is more powerful than the Dyson "Direct Drive" cleaning head and features Dynamic Load Sensor (DLS) technology, which intelligently adapts suction to deep clean carpets while extending run time on hard floors. This is an original Dyson spare part with part number 970100-03 / 970100-05.
Does the "High Torque" cleaning head work on the Dyson V7/V8?

The original Dyson "High Torque" cleaning head is a more powerful version of Dyson's "Direct Drive" cleaning head, first introduced with the V7 and V8 models. It features Dynamic Load Sensor technology, which adapts suction power for carpets and improves performance on hard floors. Additionally, it has a manual switch that allows for the suction of larger debris on different floor surfaces. Please note that this cleaning head does not fit the Dyson V12 or Dyson Gen5 series.
